Outreach Programs

School

The school, located at the main children’s home, provides education for the children living there. Classes are taught in both Telugu, the children’s native language,  and English. The older students also have the opportunity to take college level courses to prepare them to enter college.

Children’s homes

Many children are brought to one of Heart of Hope’s two children’s homes because their parents are too poor to take care of them. At the homes the children receive food, clothing, education in a Christian environment, and, most importantly, solid Biblical teaching. We are excited to be beginning construction of the second Children’s Home, as pictured.

Sponsorship Program

For $60 a month you can sponsor a child at one of Heart of Hope’s children’s homes. Sponsorship provides the child with food, school supplies and tuition, and pays for boarding expenses.

Medical Camps

Many people who live in the remote villages of India are unable to travel to a medical facility or to afford regular medical care. The mission brings medical care to poor, remote villages through medical camps, which provide medical supplies and professional care, through general doctors as well as specialists. The mission hires local doctors for a day and takes them to these villages to provide the medical care the people are not able to get otherwise. Bringing medical aid to these villages meets the physical needs of the people and also offers opportunities to evangelize and share the Gospel.

food distribution

Another program that Heart of Hope India has been involved in is food distribution. Since Covid19 has made its inroads into India many of the poor have struggled to have enough to eat. The lockdowns have caused much suffering. With the help of many from the Christian Community throughout the US, thousands have been impacted in a very powerful way by receiving food packages. As of June 2021 our goal is to reach 15,000 individuals with food and medical supplies within the next few months.
